National Philanthropy Day

Join us for the 2017 National Philanthropy Day! On November 14th, from 8:00 a.m. to mid-afternoon, we have a program that is designed to have you leave feeling inspired and prepared for anything!

The North Alabama Chapter of AFP holds a Philanthropy Day Seminar each year and brings in nationally recognized speakers such as Penelope Burke and Marcie Heim. These speakers bring great wisdom and humor to an often thankless profession while inspiring fundraisers to ENJOY what we do!
This year Joe Garecht, of The Fundraising Authority, will present Creating a Fundraising Funnel - How to keep your Donor Pipeline Full! Joe is the founder of The Fundraising Authority, the web's best resource on fundraising for small and medium-sized non-profits, and home to hundreds of articles on how to raise more money effectively.
After Joe presents his exciting workshop we will enjoy a luncheon and present our Philanthropy Day awards which include Philanthropy Hero, Non-Profit of the Year and Fundraiser of the Year. To fill out a nomination form for a deserving person you know, click here.
